Main Menus
1. Global Menu Bar
Accessible from the very upper space of Harmoni. This menu bar provides actions and functions that have a "global" purpose.
These include (as applicable):
- Entity access
- Global filters
- Color scheme
- Content preview toggle
- Knowledge base
- Log out
The menu bar is always accessible and in a fixed position.
2. Harmoni Entities
Entities are the key work areas of Harmoni and provide a fast way to access the important entities within the Harmoni environment. Entity access/display is limited to your role (e.g., Creator, Explorer, Viewer) or site configuration. Learn more.
Harmoni key entities include:
- Projects
- Stories
- Dashboards
- Alerts
3. Active Entity
The orange underline indicates the currently active entity. This allows you to know which entity workspace you have loaded.
4. Content Menu Bar
Actions and information relating to your currently loaded entity workspace.
5. Harmoni Logo
Navigate to the landing page by clicking on the logo.
6. History Widget
Shows all the places you have visited within the current session, ordered to show the most recent at the top. Click on an item to load/return to it.
7. Active Entity Title
The name of the entity actively loaded is displayed in orange-colored text. The orange-colored text also applies to a sub-entity in the case of a story view.
8. Favorite Icon
A solid ‘heart’ appears next to any entity names you have favorited in Harmoni. You can access Favorites from the entity menu/curtain under the tile filters.
9. Color Scheme Toggle
Part of the global menu bar. Allows toggling the color scheme to suit your presentation medium or personal preference.
PowerPoint exports are not affected by the color scheme toggle. Your PPT template settings determine these.
10. Add to story (Story action menu)
No story active
- Clicking + adds the current view to a new story.
- Add to existing allows you to choose an existing story to add the current view.
Story active
- Clicking + adds the current view to an active story (shown in orange text).
- Add to new adds the current view to a new story.
- Add to existing allows you to choose an existing story to add the current view.
11. Direct export to Excel and PowerPoint
You can directly export your analysis or dashboard to Excel or PowerPoint. This can be done by clicking on the respective icons on the top right corner.
12. Help and Knowledge Base
Access to the Knowledge Base and the Harmoni Support team is available via Harmoni.
- Knowledge Base: Search and find relevant articles to answer any questions you may have while working with Harmoni.
- Harmoni Support team: Click Get in touch to contact the support team.
- Click the Help icon (?) and type your question in the search box
- Click the link to the article and either:
Read the article in the widget window, or
Click the View original article icon to access the article in the Knowledge Base - Click the Get in touch button to send an email to Support
When you click the View original article icon , you are taken to the article page in the Knowledge Base website. If you are not taken to the article page, please check your browser settings to ensure that browser popups for the Knowledge Base site are not blocked.
